On Sunday I will be doing a performance at the Besiendershuis in Nijmegen, as part of the residency of To Be Present.
To Be Present has been involved in a programme for art students and I will close off the day with my performance.
With this performance, I also want to raise awareness about the Dutch edition of the Diverse Universe Performance Art Festival which will take place in Eindhoven, Nijmegen and Rotterdam on 25-26-27 may 2012. It has a special student programme you can sign up for here:
On saturday the 11th of february 2012 I will be doing my performance “Art In Shining Armour #3″ as part of the PP77 festival in Eindhoven (NL) about sound artist Paul Panhuysen.
I will be the closing act of the evening after the performances of main programme the Maciunas Ensemble and Bram Stadhouders & Friends.
The location of the event is the tuinzaal at TAC, Eindhoven.
The evening starts at 20.30, tickets are 13 euro’s.
Tomorrow 29th of january is the opening of PP77 in TAC. The exhibition is part of a festival dedicated to Dutch artist Paul Panhuysen.
The exhibition in TAC features works from Panhuysen, Gijs Gieskes and me. The opening will start at 15.00.

For all who did not know, I will be doing my performance “Art In Shining Armour #2″ in collaboration with Lars Leeuw on sunday january 15th. The piece is part of the final exhibition of “Grenswerk 2011″ in Argument, Tilburg. The opening starts at 15.00, the performance will take place at 16.00. In december, the exhibitions of “Grenswerk 2011″ will open in Flipside, Eindhoven and CBK, Den Bosch.
Flipside will be open from december 2nd, but the official opening of both events will be on saturday december 10th, 2011
CBK will open at 16.00
I will be doing the performance “Art In Shining Armour #1″ with my metal bass at 17.00
LL will be the DJ for the day
at 18.30 there will be a bus departing from CBK, going to Flipside.
The 2nd opening will take place at Flipside, several bands will perform during the evening.
After a fruitful working period in Tripkau, Germany from 12-25 september I am the proud owner of 2 new works. The first, a very heavy bassguitar made solely out of metal can be viewed here: Gallery. The second is an etching that I printed last week at Daglicht:
I am currenly still working on the third piece, a short film.
These works can be seen this winter at Flipside Eindhoven, CBK Den Bosch and Argument Tilburg, hosts of this years “Grenswerk” exhibitions. Agenda

The video of last friday’s performance “Liquid Courage (Or Am I Really That Transparent?)” at Grace Space in Brooklyn is up online now! New photo’s will be up soon too. Missed it or couldn’t come to Grace Exhibition Space? I’m doing another version of this performance at Lokaal 01 in Breda on june 11th. The event will be from 14.00 to midnight and the OKC will be there to entertain you with their pink caravan, so make sure to stop by!
